Bryan Hill is in his 7th year as the Superintendent for Hedley CISD. Before that time Mr. Hill was the principal for Hedley CISD for 17
years. Mr. Hill was also taught and coached during his 17 years as
principal.
Mr. Hill, a native of Hedley and a 1975 graduate of Hedley High
School, he attended Clarendon College and West Texas State University in Canyon
where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1980.
Mr. Hill with his Debbie moved to Wellington, Texas in 1980 where he taught and
coached for two years. In 1982 the Hill's moved to Hedley, where Mr. Hill
became the principal, teacher, and coach.
In 1990 to 1992, Mr. Hill attended Sul Ross State University in
Alpine, Texas where he received a Master's Degree in Education and his
Mid-Management certification. In 1996, Mr. Hill received his
Superintendents certification from West Texas A&M University.
As HCISD superintendent, Mr. Hill spearheaded a successful
November 1999 bond election for one million dollars to build a new addition to
the school. The new addition was completed October 1, 2002. The new addition
consisted of a new library/auditorium, four classrooms, and a new metal roof
over the entire main building.
Mr. Hill's goals for Hedley CISD are improving student
achievement through well trained teachers and time on task. To improve
facilities to create the best learning environment. To act fiscally
responsible and nurture, encourage and train teachers.
Mr. Hill's wife, Debbie, is a
third grade teacher at Hedley Elementary School. Mr. Hill is the
father of three daughters, all three of
which are recent graduates of Hedley CISD.
