All
runners ran very stiff competiton-- some of the best runners in the state,
including runners from the larger Class 1A schools like Sunray, Shamrock,
Claude, Sundown, and the defending state champions in both the boys' and girls'
divisions. Iraan. The girls' team finished 19 out of 24 teams and the boys' team
14 out of 22 team. Now that we know what it takes to compete at that
level, we are looking forward to improving and qualifying some runners for state
next year.
